Why choose a CCH Home?
For the unique spiritual atmosphere
-
All Christadelphian Homes operate with a Christian ethos that forms the foundation of daily life and the provision of quality care.
-
Grace is said before meals and Bible reading takes place most days.
-
Each Home has a Welfare Committee, which is usually made up of members of the local Christadelphian churches, who visit the Home’s residents and arrange various activities and outings.
For a level of care and support that is second to none
-
Each Home provides warm, friendly surroundings and is run by professionals to the highest standards.
-
As well as having the skills and abilities to satisfy the stringent requirements of modern legislation, Home Managers are carefully selected for their caring attitude and empathy for those who share the Christadelphian faith. Good staff are a vital part of the success of our Homes. They are all encouraged to take part in on-going training to ensure that they remain up-to-date and properly qualified in this increasingly highly-regulated field of work.
For a home where the emphasis is on the preservation of personal choice, privacy, dignity and a sense of independence
-
Residents will be encouraged to bring with them a few items of furniture and other personal effects to help make your room 'home from home’. Almost every room has en suite facilities, but additionally there are bath and shower rooms with facilities for those who require assistance.
-
Most rooms are ‘wheelchair friendly’. Care includes the provision of meals, laundry and cleaning of rooms, and personal assistance according to your individual needs.
For a home you can afford
-
If you are able, you will be required to pay your care fees from your own resources. If you are not able to do this, financial assistance may be available from other sources including local authorities.
