Residential Homes

CCH operate ten residential care homes across the UK.  These are all set in warm, friendly surroundings run by professionals to the highest standards.  Each Home has a Welfare Committee which is made up of local Christadelphians who visit the Home's residents and arrange various activities such as outings.  As well as long-term residence, CCH can provide holidays, convalescence and respite care when vacancies permit.

Can't manage any longer in your own home, not even with a lot of help from others?

...we understand

That's why CCH is dedicated to giving you the secure and fulfilling environment that you now need.

            • Our staff are available to help 24 hours a day

            • At all time we will ensure that your requirements are met whilst respecting your dignity.

            • All Homes have a large comfortable lounge, a dining room and some have a conservatory.  If stairs are a little difficult these days, there's no need to worry as there is a lift to take you between floors with no effort.

            • All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and have ensuite shower rooms to ensure your privacy.

            • We always encourage visits by relatives and friends, (we can provide meals for them if required).  And of course residents are free to come and go as they wish.

Some of the benefits of life in a Christadelphian Care Home:

            • Home cooking, with special needs catered for.

            • A personal laundry service

            • Visits by local doctors, hairdressers and chiropodists etc.

            • Large picturesque and well maintained gardens

            • Daily Bible readings and supplementary breaking-of-bread as required

Moving into a care home is a big step ...

We realise this, and so we normally recommend a trial period of at least one month.  This enables you to settle in and decide for yourself whether you want to make this your new home, and it allows the staff to assess your care needs so they can be sure the home is the best for you.

The Manager and staff at all CCH Homes aim to provide the best residential care for the elderly, by:

  • providing a ‘home from home’ in a safe and comfortable environment which enables residents to maintain high standards of dignity and quality of life, whilst preserving as much of their independence and privacy as possible.
  • making every effort to ensure that the necessary care and attention is given in a professional yet friendly manner, and in a relaxed atmosphere, having due regard to residents’ freedom of choice.
  • positively enabling the residents to live and worship in accordance with their wishes and beliefs.
  • warmly welcoming relatives and visitors to the Home at any time of the day.
